Privacy

Traceboard collects no personal information. There are no accounts, no tracking, no advertising, and no third-party scripts.

What stays on the device

Board settings and word lists (for example a list of student first names) are stored only in the browser on the iPad or computer that created them, using the browser’s local storage. They are never sent to Traceboard or to anyone else. Clearing the browser’s website data removes them.

What the server sees

Loading the site sends the ordinary web requests needed to deliver the page, fonts, and images. Traceboard does not use analytics, cookies, or tracking pixels, and does not log who visits. The site is served over HTTPS from Cloudflare.

Children

Traceboard is designed for use by teachers in front of a class. It asks for no names, email addresses, or other information from anyone, including children. It has no messaging, sharing, or user-generated content that leaves the device.
